Building community away from the pool is a cornerstone in the North Coast Aquatics philosophy, and this holiday season saw swimmers supporting the 12th Annual Holiday for Heroes at Camp Pendleton, California, with toys for a battalion’s family members. “I was shocked by all the NCA gifts for the children,” Michael Joseph, Founder and Chair of the event said. “I estimate there were at least 200 gifts!” Developing relationships and supporting organizations away from the deck is just one way NCA demonstrates citizenship.  Look for future philanthropic opportunities in the coming year.
